Francisco Negrin has been working on show dramaturgy for several arena based shows and other pop/commercial events

This has included working on concepts for rock band OK GO , Decca/Universal records, singer/songwriter Mika and brands such as Volkswagen and Audi as well as the conception of various shows and events as creative consultant for Balich Worldwide Shows. .

Among those: Mother of the Nation, a BWS show for the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi




Francisco has concieved, written and directed one of the largest shows ever:

The opening ceremony of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games

They took place in the summer of 2017 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.

Produced by Balich Worldwide Shows, the event featured over 6000 performers

and an 11 meter deep, 25 meter wide chamber especially built into the stadium floor .


Francisco directed the Opening ceremony of the Panamerican games Lima 2019, designed by Thanassis Demiris, Pepe Corzo and Luke Halls, produced by Balich Worldwide Shows. 200 performers participated in this event that had a huge impact in the country, as it was watched by 7 out of 10 Peruvians . Francisco also was creative supervisor for the Closing and for teh opening and closing ceremonies of the Para Panamerican games.

The event included 87 synchronised drones with LEDs and a giant fireworks show by Groupe_F 



Francisco wrote and directed the largest ever Ice show,

Intimissimi on Ice: OPERA POP.

It opened at the roman arena in Verona Italy in 2014. It innovatively and spectacularly mixed specially arranged symphonic pop music and favourite opera extracts, integrating live opera singers and world champion skaters with video projection on screens and on the ice surface. The show featured pop stars Pharell Williams and Anastacia.

Francisco  also wrote and directed a second version of the show:

Intimissimi on Ice: SHADOWS AND LIGHT

which opened in 2015 and featured pop star Ellie Goulding



In the medium of traditionnal theatre, Francsico directed a semi staged performance of Live Acts on Stage, a wonderful play by Australian author Michael Gow at the Chelsea Centre Theatre with Kika Markham and Sharon Maugham.


He has also been a member of the board and Artistic Director of contemporary dance group Walker Dance, led by choreographer and dancer Fin Walker and composer Ben Park who now have the company Walker Park. With them he has directed site specific performances such as Two Stations for the London Great Outdoors festival and generally experimented with the integration of Music Theatre and Dance, particularly with the project Essence recently seen at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden (Linbury theatre)
